Privacy Policy
Screenshot to Calendar (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects the minimum amount of personal information required to provide the Chrome extension and web dashboard. This privacy policy describes the data we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you register or sign in with Google or email, Supabase stores your email address, profile metadata, and subscription status.
- OAuth tokens. With your consent we encrypt and store Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 tokens so the extension can create events on your behalf.
- Screenshot content. Screenshots you explicitly capture are sent to our Supabase Edge Function for AI processing. Images stay in volatile memory only long enough to complete the analysis, then they are deleted. We retain only the structured metadata for 30 days by default so you can review, export, or delete it sooner.
- Usage information. We log the number of analyses and saves per account to enforce free-tier limits and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full payment-card details, only Stripe customer IDs returned to us.
How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate you in the web dashboard and Chrome extension.
- Generate calendar events, reminders, and usage statistics you see in the product.
- Provide customer support and notify you of material changes or outages.
- Comply with legal obligations, such as responding to valid law-enforcement requests and tax regulations.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with trusted processors necessary to run the service (e.g., Supabase for hosting, Stripe for billing, Google/Microsoft when you connect calendars).
Data Retention & Security
Account data is retained as long as your subscription remains active. Encrypted OAuth tokens are deleted if you disconnect a calendar or close your account. Screenshots are automatically purged after analysis; only structured metadata persists for 30 days by default unless you remove it sooner from the history page. We apply encryption in transit and at rest, restrict employee access, and continuously monitor for unauthorized use.
Your Choices
- Access, update, or delete your account by emailing support@screentocal.com.
- Disconnect Google or Microsoft calendars at any time from the extension or dashboard.
- Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link contained in each message.
If you have questions or would like to exercise your rights under GDPR/CCPA or other regulations, contact us at support@screentocal.com. We will respond within 30 days.
